Melissa has been an active life long scout. She has spent 25 yrs with the Girls Scouts, Gold award recipient (Girls Scouts Highest Award) and 14 years as an adult leader. She has spent 14 years as a leader with Boy Scouts of America, joining Troop 431 with her youngest son Thomas in February 2005. Melissa has served Troop 431 in many roles, including; Assistant Scout Master for "1st to First" program for 6 years, Assistant Scout Master for Advancement for 3 years, Merit Badge Coordinator for 2 years, Merit Badge Counselor for 10 years. Prior to joining Troop 431, Melissa was a Cub Leader in Pack 629 for four years.As a scout leader Melissa has earned several honors, including; OA Vigil Honor, Silver Beaver and District Award of Merit. Her training includes the Wood Badge course, which aims to make Scouters better leaders by teaching advanced leadership skills, and by creating a bond and commitment to the Scout movement. Courses have combined classroom and practical outdoors-based phases followed by a Wood Badge ticket, also known as the project phase. By "working the ticket", participants put their newly gained experience into practice to attain ticket goals aiding the Scouting movement. Wood Badge trained in 2004, 92-46. Staffed Wood Badge 92-49. Fox patrol.Her participation has extended beyond the troop to the many national activities BSA sponsors, including; Jamboree 2010 where she served as the 2nd Assistant Scout Master, Jamboree 2013, where she served as Scoutmaster, National Order of the Arrow Conference 2009 , SummitCorps 2011, Sea Base, Northern Tier, Summit ATV Trek, Triple Crown. Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga. Graduated from Georgia Tech with Bachelors of Science and Masters of Architecture. Married to Paul Ludwig for 38 years. Three children. Daughter earned Gold Award, two sons also earned their Eagle Rank. Practiced commercial architecture in Atlanta, then left commercial architecture to manage nursing homes for my family’s company. Performed our architecture in-house and did our facilities management for 31 years. Company recently sold. Have attended Saint Barnabas Anglican Church in Dunwoody for 10 years. Prior to that attended Church of our Saviour in Atlanta, since birth.Scoutmaster

Melinda has been involved in numerous Roswell community and school programs including; Roswell North Elementary PTA, Crabapple Middle School PTA, Roswell High School Marching Band, Roswell United Methodist Church Youth Programs, Roswell Recreation Athletics, Roswell Santos Soccer, Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance. She has participated in Boy Scouts of America since 2000 when her youngest son was a Cub Scout. All three of her boys have been Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Melinda has been involved with Troop 431 for 5 years, serving as chair for different activities and fundraising programs.Melinda has been a Roswell resident for nearly 20 years. The majority of her career has been with The Coca-Cola Company. She graduated from Clemson University and received her MBA from Georgia State University. Rebecca has been involved with Troop 432 since her daughter crossed over in 2021. As a Fulton County teacher and a member of Alpharetta Methodist church, Rebecca is active within her community and local youth organizations. Camping, hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities is how she enjoys spending her time, as well as enjoying time with this fantastic troop! Assistant Scoutmaster

Erin has been involved with scouts for about 4 years. She was a girls' den leader in Pack 1429 for 3 years. She grew up in the Dunwoody/Roswell/Alpharetta area and went to first grade at Roswell Elementary, which used to be across the street from where the scouts meet today. She graduated from Crestwood High School in 1991 and then got a degree in Journalism and Spanish from Berry College. Her work career was varied and she was a childcare worker, a waitress, a house painter, a housekeeper and a newspaper photographer. Currently she stays at home with her kids. Her husband, David, and she have been married for 23 years and they have four kids (2 in college, one in high school, one in middle school).Assistant Scoutmaster
